Whether your child has some gymnastics experience or no experience at all, they will be able to benefit from the opportunity to master fundamentals, build strength and flexibility, while maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise and being introduced to new gymnastics skills. Campers have the opportunity to work towards their full potential so they can achieve their personal best! This camp focuses on the beginning levels of gymnastics.
A typical camp day includes two to three structured gymnastics classes with warm ups that incorporate gymnastics terminology, flexibility and strength before the kids are introduced to specific skills and drills on the gymnastics events. We incorporate supervised free gym time so the kids have the opportunity to practice their skills. There is also time for snacks and lunch (provided by the parent), games (where we learn exercise can be fun!) and arts and crafts. Activities are subject to change.
